Valentine's Day (Cupid's chow)

Ingredients:

• 5 cups Chex cereal
• 1/4 cup butter 
• 3/4 cup chocolate chips
• 1 tsp vanilla extract 
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 1.5-2 cups powdered sugar
• 1.5 tbsp cacao powder (opt.) 
• Valentine’s m&ms (opt.)
• pretzels 

Instructions

1. In a glass bowl, melt butter, peanut butter and chocolate together in the microwave 
2. Mix and add vanilla extract 
3. Add Chex cereal and mix slowly
4. Once the cereal is coated with the chocolate mix, pour into a large container or ziplock bag with the powdered sugar and cacao powder - shake until fully coated
5. Add pretzels and m&ms (opt.)
6. Shake and serve

Ingredients:

• 1 cup strawberries (sliced)
• 1 cup milk chocolate chips (melted) 
• 1 tsp coconut oil (opt.)

Instructions: 

1. Slice strawberries and layer into a baking sheet
2. Melt chocolate chips with the coconut oil (adds an added shine to the chocolate) 
3. Spread chocolate over the strawberries and set in the fridge for about 30 minutes

Note: This dessert doesn't last long in the fridge, so I suggest making it the day you want to serve it!

Ingredients:

• 1/4 cup butter
• 5 cups Rice Krispies
• 4 cups marshmallows + 1/2 a cup for later
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• pink food colouring (opt.)
• pink sprinkles (opt.)

Instructions:

1. Melt butter in a big pot over low heat
2. Add 4 cups of marshmallows (saving the additional 1/2 cup for later) and stir
3. Once the marshmallows are melted, remove from heat and add the vanilla extract
4. Add the Rice Krispie's and mix slowly until fully coated 
5. Add the remaining 1/2 cup marshmallows and mix
6. Pour the mixture into a non-stick pan or line with parchment paper and pat down gently 
7. Let cool for 10-15 minutes and cut out shapes (opt.) 

Note: Store in an airtight container to keep them fresh!

Ingredients:

• 1 cup flour 
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp salt 
• 1 cup greek yogurt 
• 1 egg
• sesame seasoning (opt.)
• pink food colouring (opt.)  

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375F
2. Combine flour, baking powder and salt and set aside
3. In a separate bowl, combine the greek yogurt and food colouring 
4. Gradually add greek yogurt mix into the dry ingredients
5. Once combined, kneed dough for a few minutes (add a bit more flour if needed)
6. Once dough is soft, split into 4 sections and roll into bagel shapes 
7. Place on parchment paper 
8. Add egg wash on top of each bagel and sprinkle sesame seeds on top
9. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown
10. Let cool and enjoy! 

Note: the image is a raw bagel - when shaping them, make sure to make them a bit larger because they will shrink as they bake. Store in an airtight container to keep them fresh!

Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 cups yogurt of your choice (I used a berry flavour)
• 1/2 cup frozen or fresh berries
• 3/4 cup dark chocolate 
• 1 tsp coconut oil 

Instructions:

1. In a bowl, add the yogurt of your choice
2. Add berries and mix
3. In a lined baking sheet, add your yogurt and form heart shapes
4. Place in the freeze for a few hours
5. Once hearts are frozen, in a small bowl, melt your dark chocolate with coconut oil 
6. Coat hearts in the chocolate and place back onto the lined baking tray (the hearts will be frozen, so the chocolate will set quickly) 
7. Place back in freeze for 20 minutes

Note: Store in freezer in an airtight container to keep them fresh!
